Meccanica RPC srl è nata nel 1946 alle porte di Milano con l'obiettivo di progettare, produrre e distribuire articoli tecnici per contatori elettrici, del gas e dell'acqua. Nel corso dei primi anni l'attività era prettamente meccanica e si concentrava su ingranaggi in metallo eseguiti con dentatrici Mikrone rulli cifrati ottenuti per imbottitura di lamiere di alluminio. Il passaggio ai materiali termoplastici ha portato ad una sostanziale trasformazione della produzione con l'apertura di nuovi reparti quali l'Attrezzeria per la realizzazione degli stampi e la Produzione con presse ad iniezione. Questo ulteriore sviluppo nel campo della trasformazione della plastica ha portato l'azienda a specializzarsi in lavorazioni specifiche come i blocchetti completi dei contachilometri per tutte le automobili prodotte dai maggiori gruppi italiani automobilistici quali Magneti Marelli, Fiat, Lancia ed Alfa o come le tastiere di tutte le calcolatrici prodotte dalla Texas Instruments. Per soddisfare sempre più le esigenze della nostra clientela, Meccanica RPC ha investito in India nei pressi di Mumbay realizzando una nuova fabbrica (MPPL) per la produzione di particolari termoplastici con l'impiego dei più moderni macchinari europei. Attualmente sia dalla fabbrica italiana sita in Corsico alle porte di Milano, che da quella di Mumbay, la produzione è esportata in tutto il mondo e in particolar modo in Cina, in Europa ed in Sudamerica. MPPL è una joint-venture Italo Indiana con l'obiettivo di soddisfare i più alti standard di precisione, di performance e di qualità. La struttura in India si è resa necessaria a causa della concorrenza sui prezzi che si è creata in tutto il mondo. Noi uniamo ad una qualità elevata secondo gli standard europei, quotazioni dei nostri prodotti che risultano di gran lunga le più competitive sul mercato internazionale.

Meccanica RPC Srl was founded in 1946 near Milan with the aim of designing, producing and distributing technical items for electric gas and water meters. During the early years, production was almost exclusively mechanical and concentrated on metal gear wheels made by Mikron gear-cutters and cyclometer-type rollers obtained filling aluminium sheets. The passage to thermoplastic materials led to a substantial transformation of production with the opening of new departments such as Tooling to create the moulds and Production with injection presses. The latter development in the plastic transformation field led the company to specialise in special processes such as the complete blocks of mile/kilometre counters for all the vehicles produced by the major Italian automotive groups such as Magneti Marelli, Fiat, Lancia and Alfa, or as keyboards of all the calculators produced by Texas Instruments. In order to meet the developing needs of our customers, Meccanica RPC has invested in the area of Mumbay, India, creating a new factory (MPPL) for the production of special thermoplastics through the use of the most up-to-date European machinery. Currently both the Italian factory in Corsico, near Milan, and that in Mumbay export their production around the world and, in particular, to China, Europe and South America. MPPL is an Italo-Indian joint-venture with the aim of satisfying the highest standards of precision, performance and quality. The structure in India became necessary because of the price competition which arose around the world. We unite a high quality to European standards with product prices which are by far the most competitive on the international market.
